Zentech Pty Ltd is a Western Australian civil construction Family run business providing logistics, plant and equipment, and volumetric concrete solutions. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to support the maintenance and reliable operation of our equipment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will carry out mechanical fitting, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on plant and equipment used across our operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting machinery and diagnosing mechanical faults.
• Dismantling, repairing and reassembling mechanical equipment.
• Fitting and replacing bearings, seals, shafts and other mechanical components.
• Maintaining and repairing pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and hydraulic systems.
• Completing component alignment, adjustments and operational checks.
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals and specifications.
• Recording inspections, repairs and maintenance work.
• Following safe work procedures and equipment isolation requirements.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant mechanical fitting trade qualification or recognised equivalent.
• Practical experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturer instructions.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• A reliable approach and commitment to workplace safety.

Experience with civil construction plant, concrete production equipment or similar industrial machinery would be advantageous.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $89,000.00 per year

Education:

• Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical Fitter: 5 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving licence (Preferred)
