Assistant Centre Director at Little Saints ELC Traralgon!

We have a unique position for an Assistant Director who is a passionate, knowledgeable and dedicated individual who has experience and the desire to lead, support and manage our team and assist with the day to day running of our centre in conjunction with the Centre Director. 

You will assume responsibility for the following: -

• assist the Centre Director with the day-to-day management of the centre in accordance with legislative requirements and Little Saints ELC policies.

• provide guidance, mentoring  and leadership to  staff to ensure the delivery of high quality programs. .

• collaborating with the Centre Director in preparation of staff rostering

• upholding Little Saints ELC high-quality standards and work practices.

• nurture relationships with our children, families, educators and external stakeholders.

• participate in attracting, converting and retaining families through tours, enrolments and orientations.  

You will possess:

• A good understanding of the Child Safe Standards 

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor of Early Education 

• Current Working with Children Check or be prepared to get one 

• Be prepared to undertake a National Police Check 

• Proficiency in EYLF / VEYLDF and National Quality Standards

• Great personal presentation

• Confidence and curiosity to build relationships with our families 

• A desire to contribute to an awesome team

• Be a great communicator with adults and children 

• Have a proactive approach to care and support 

• Be able to demonstrate sensitivity, patience and kindness
