Compliance Officer (Part-Time 2-3 Days Per Week)

Bongiorno Wealth Management is seeking an experienced and organised Compliance Officer to support our Financial Planning and Insurance teams.
 
This role would suit someone with experience in financial planning operations, compliance, paraplanning or practice management who is looking for a flexible 2-3 day per week position.
 
Working closely with the Training & Compliance Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting advisers, maintaining systems and ensuring regulatory requirements are met across the business.

About the role
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining Xplan templates, user groups and data feeds
• Updating advice document and client communication templates
• Assisting with adviser onboarding and offboarding activities
• Supporting internal and external compliance reviews
• Maintaining compliance registers and regulatory records
• Assisting with AFSL obligations including fee consents, privacy and AML requirements
• Supporting training and professional development initiatives
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies. 

About you
To be successful in this position you will have:

• Previous experience within financial planning, wealth management or financial services
• Strong working knowledge of Xplan
• Understanding of financial planning compliance requirements
• Excellent organisational and administration skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
