Hands-on Resort Manager wanted for a beautiful lakeside property in Merimbula.

Robyn’s Nest Lakeside Resort is seeking an experienced Resort Manager to lead daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences and keep our unique lakeside property running smoothly.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being across the full resort operation — guests, housekeeping, maintenance, bookings, facilities, staff support and business growth.

You’ll be the key on-site contact for guests, staff and suppliers, helping ensure the resort is welcoming, well presented, secure and efficiently run.

About the Role

Working closely with the General Manager, restaurant management, staff and local suppliers, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the resort.

Your responsibilities will include:

·       Manage daily resort operations, reception, guest enquiries and check-ins

·       Oversee housekeeping, room presentation, maintenance and property standards

·       Coordinate staff, contractors, suppliers and regulatory inspections

·       Monitor bookings, rates, OTAs, inventory, accounts and administration

·       Support the restaurant team during busy periods when required

·       Identify opportunities to improve guest experience, occupancy and business performance

About You

You’ll be reliable, practical, organised and passionate about hospitality, people and great guest service.

You will ideally have:

·       Experience in resort, hotel, accommodation or hospitality management

·       Strong customer service, communication and leadership skills

·       Confidence managing staff, contractors, priorities and guest expectations

·       A hands-on approach to property, facilities and operational management

·       Good computer skills and experience with booking or online systems

·       Experience with OTAs, tourism marketing, revenue management or accommodation booking systems will be highly regarded.

This is a Hands-On Management Role

This role suits someone who likes variety, takes initiative and is happy to roll up their sleeves.

From guest arrivals and room preparation to pool checks, maintenance issues and restaurant support, you’ll be actively involved wherever needed.
