Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer & Project Engineer to join our team.

About the Roles:

These roles will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and successful delivery of civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and clients to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, within budget and in accordance with project specifications.

The Senior Project Engineer will take a greater leadership role in project delivery, including programming, commercial management, subcontractor coordination, engineering oversight and mentoring junior engineering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily site activities

• Carry out site inspections and ensure works meet project specifications

• Prepare and complete ITPs, QA documentation and project records

• Prepare and submit reports to the Principal Contractor

• Manage work fronts and monitor construction progress

• Assist with project programming, forecasting and reporting

• Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and materials

• Ensure supplier and material conformance with project specifications

• Manage RFIs, technical queries and project documentation

• Monitor quality, WHS and environmental compliance

• Identify project risks, delays and issues and implement corrective actions

• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager

• Maintain accurate records and document control

• Comply with PCP's Integrated Management System (IMS)
  

Senior Project Engineer – Additional Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and technical delivery across assigned projects

• Manage project programs, budgets, forecasts and cost performance

• Coordinate and manage subcontractor packages

• Monitor productivity, quantities, variations and commercial performance

• Assist with procurement and contract administration

• Liaise directly with clients, Principal Contractors and key stakeholders

• Provide technical guidance and support to Site Engineers and project teams

• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, productivity and efficiency

• Support the Project Manager with overall project performance and delivery

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline

• Current Australian Driver Licence

• Construction White Card

• Strong civil construction experience

• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work autonomously and within a project team

• Willingness to travel to regional project locations as required

• TMR project experience will be highly regarded
  

Site Engineer:

• Previous experience in a Site Engineer or similar civil construction role preferred.

Senior Project Engineer:

• Minimum 5+ years' engineering experience within civil construction, with demonstrated experience managing engineering, project delivery and subcontractor activities.
