Store Person/Courier Driver

United Office Choice is one of South Australia's largest independently owned stationery suppliers.  We have an opportunity for a delivery driver to join our warehouse team in our Adelaide warehouse, based in Bromptom, South Australia.

The role will involve pick/pack operations and dispatching orders for customers as well as daily deliveries of office supplies orders in our company van

Duties for this role include:

• To accurately pick orders from bin locations, pack and correctly label for delivery.

• Liaise with courier companies where necessary to arrange collection/delivery of regional/rural/interstate parcels.

• To pack, wrap and dispatch pallets of packaged stock.

• To operate with an understanding and compliance of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.

• To undertake other general manual handling operations as directed by the Warehouse Manager.

• Assist in general warehouse 'housekeeping'

• To represent the company professionally and capably

• To deliver orders in accordance with customer requests and timelines.

• To deliver orders accurately and in a timely manner.

• To ensure that company protocols re POD and receipting are fulfilled for all orders.

• Deliveries will generally comprise CBD and metro areas of Adelaide.

To be successful in this role it is essential you have the following skills:

• Sufficient physical fitness/mobility to spend all day on your feet

• Manual dexterity to handle small items and packaging

• An understanding of the importance of WHS and be prepared to operate ensuring the safety of yourself and your team.

• A sense of humour, and a co-operative attitude

• Reliable and punctual, with a helpful approach.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be ideal.
