What We Offer

• Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW
• Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts
• Pay Rates: Competitive EBA rates + 25% casual loading + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Project Uplift + Site Allowances
• Other Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downers major Bayswater outage. LAFHA or Accommodation + Meal Allowance provided to distant workers

The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is looking for casual outage workers to provide outage services at the Bayswater Power Station in Muswellbrook, NSW. The work is set to begin around September 2026. Downer will be delivering mechanical and project services during the outage, which will include pressure piping replacements, ducting patch repairs, and damper installations.

• Pressure Welders
• Boilermakers
• Mechanical Fitters
• Sheet Metal Workers
• Laggers
• Riggers
• Scaffolders
• Crane Operators
• Confined Space Hole Watchers
• Trades Assistants

Additional requirements for Trade Assistance and Confined Space Hole Watchers

• 2-day Confined Space - inclusive of the following modules:
  • MSMPER2OO Work in accordance with an issued permit
  • MSMWHS201 Conduct hazard analysis
  • RIIWHS2O2E Enter and work in confined spaces
  • MSMWHS217 Gas test atmosphere
  • MSMPER202 Observe permit work

  • RIIRIS201E Conduct local risk control
