Occupational Therapist

Part-Time Position 

1 Day per Week (08:00- 16:00)

This role lets you make a real impact through high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy, grounded in resident-centred, holistic care. You’ll assess residents’ physical and psychosocial functioning, guiding their capacity for everyday activities, and work closely with them—and those important to them—to shape meaningful, goal-driven care.

Using your expertise in routines, roles, and activity analysis, you’ll design and deliver engaging, holistic therapy programs that boost autonomy, well-being, and quality of life—helping residents participate in activities that matter most to them.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist within Aegis, no day will look the same! You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills including but not limited to:

• Hold a genuine interest in working with older people.
• Passion for enablement and rehabilitation.
• Customer service ethos with focus on providing a comprehensive and meaningful Occupational Therapy service to all residents.
• Have strong attention to detail and solution focussed problem-solving skills.
• An appetite for innovation and continuous improvement
• Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and within a team environment.

Essential Requirements 

• Occupational Therapy qualification and AHPRA registration.
• Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance

This role is at our impressive Shorehaven Facility is situated in the vibrant, beach side community of Shorehaven, Alkimos. This Facility offers an innovative costal design with state-of-the-art equipment to make your life and the life of our residents easier.
