About the Role

This person will be responsible for removing parts from vehicles in an efficient and timely manner. They will also hold responsibility of making sure the parts are clean and well presented for customers suited needs. The employee must be a highly enthusiastic and driven individual who pays close attention to detail, who works well in a team environment for the position. We are ideally looking for someone with the skills to remove engines & Transmissions from vehicles. 

The hours for this position will be 8:30am-4:30/5pm Monday to Friday with the possibility of Saturday work between the hours of 9am-1pm

Weekly / Daily Duties include but limited to:

• Perform checks on parts and provide condition reports to staff members across various sites

• To manage all incoming parts orders in priority, and to process them within a timely manner.

• To ensure all parts that are removed from vehicles, are cleaned and presented well for our customers

• To remove Engines & Transmissions from vehicles 

• Maintain yard cleanliness

• Clean car parks and treatment areas

• To relay any necessary information to sales staff when necessary to upkeep quality control within the Full Service

•  To carry out any maintenance required by management, and to assist customers in doing inspections of parts.

Responsibilities

• Making sure all parts transferred between sites are correctly labelled and are wrapped up securely to ensure no damage during transport

• To ensure our parts list is always up to date for particular site

• to ensure yard in clean and ready for new cars in and out

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role with proven results is a non negotiable - please do not apply if you do not have the experience

• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal

• Flexible and adaptable to handle high pressure situations, excellent time management, accompanied by a high level of resilience
