ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced EOD / UXO Technicians to support the delivery of UXO and Explosive Ordnance Material (EOM) identification, survey, remediation, and risk management projects across Australia. 

This is a hands-on field-based role offering diverse and challenging work in a safety-critical environment, working alongside experienced professionals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Conduct UXO clearance, field validation, safety support and remediation operations. 
• Identify military munitions, explosive remnants of war (ERW), and associated components. 
• Excavate and investigate subsurface anomalies and UXO targets. 
• Maintain a strong adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. 
• Plan/conduct risk management and mitigation activities  
• Prepare field documentation, technical reports, and project records. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

Essential 

• Graduate of a recognised Military Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) School or equivalent civilian qualification consisting of a minimum of 200 hours of formal instruction. 
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 
• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work outdoors in remote locations, variable terrain, and challenging environmental conditions. 
• A strong interest in developing leadership capabilities, with a view to progressing into supervisory and project management roles  
• Hold current Manual Drivers Licence or willing to obtain. 
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
