ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Aston Consulting is an independent Australian engineering and technology consultancy specialising in commercial workplaces, fitouts and building refurbishments.

Since 2013, Aston has delivered millions of square metres of commercial projects, providing expertise across building services engineering, workplace technology, sustainability and wellness, specialist lighting, acoustics and technical advisory services.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team in a full time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

·       Electrical Engineering design with multidisciplinary focus;

·       CAD Drawing of Hydraulic designs;

·       Undertaking professional developing training

·       Delivering fully coordinated building services engineering documentation

·       Administration of site activities / installations

·       Attend client meetings as required

·       Designing Electrical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and

·       systems for construction

·       Develop cost effective, pragmatic Electrical engineering solutions and negotiating with the

·       Relevant Authorities on behalf of our clients

·       Establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing,

·       inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations

·       Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained

·       Directing the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, and coordinating the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

·       2 year of relevant experience  

·       Hold a relevant Engineering degree

·       Excellent communication and problem solving skills

·       Understanding of electrical concepts, computers and software

·       Proficient with Excel. Word & Bluebeam

·       Proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit skills

What We Offer

We are offering a salary in the range of $120,000–$130,000 + superannuation, commensurate with experience.
