Tyree Transformers design and manufacture Distribution and Power Transformers. About the Role

Due to its rapid and ongoing growth, the Company now has an exciting opportunity for a trade assistant to join the Fabrication Team. Reporting to the Fabrication Manager and Team Leader, this role will be responsible for:

·           Assisting tradespeople in daily tasks and projects

·           Load and unload materials, parts and equipment

·           Prepare materials and components for production or repair work

·           Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment

·           Support with moving or positioning heavy items

About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

·           Safe Manual Handling Practices

·           Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and machinery

·           Good communication and problem-solving skills

·           Basic Machine Operation, CNC operation is desired but not essential

·           An ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

·           An ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities

·           An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

·           Must have a can-do attitude

·           Have a strong safety mindset and attitude

·           The proven ability to work within a team environment as the organisational needs dictate

·           A current Drivers Licence and Forklift is preferred but not essential
