We’re looking for our next Customer Specialist.

What does the role involve?

As a Customer Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing the customer journey from the initial enquiry through to completion.

You’ll work across our flooring and window covering products, helping customers find the right solution for their home and making sure their experience with us is a great one.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Responding to customer enquiries and building strong customer relationships

• Meeting with customers in-store and on-site

• Understanding customer needs and providing product advice

• Completing accurate site measures

• Preparing and presenting quotes

• Following up opportunities and managing your customer pipeline

• Coordinating with our Operations and Installation teams to ensure jobs are delivered smoothly

• Keeping customers informed throughout their project

• Managing customer and job information accurately in our systems

• Helping solve problems when things don't go to plan

• Supporting the wider team and contributing to a positive store environment

Essentially, you'll be the person helping take a customer from “I'm thinking about doing something” to “I'm so glad we chose you.”

You need to enjoy the pace.

Customer and sales roles aren't always predictable.

There will be busy periods where the phone doesn't stop, multiple customers need your attention and there are plenty of things happening at once.

There will also be quieter periods where you need to create your own momentum, follow up opportunities and keep things moving - It can feel a little like a washing machine sometimes.

We're looking for someone who doesn't find that exhausting — we're looking for someone who thrives on it.

If you like having a full day, enjoy the satisfaction of turning an opportunity into a result and are motivated by having something to work towards, you'll probably fit in pretty well here.

Experience

Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, building, construction, flooring, window furnishings or a similar customer-facing role would be highly regarded.

A building or trade background is also desirable, particularly given the importance of accurate site measures and understanding installation requirements.

However, we're not expecting you to walk in knowing everything about our products.

We can teach you flooring. We can teach you window furnishings. We can teach you our systems.

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, drive and willingness to learn.
