 What will you need to be a Sales Manager - Wholesale Veg Category

We’re looking for an energetic, confident communicator, a real self-starter, who’ll be hands on end to end, using your previous experience in produce to hit the ground running, you’ll be happy meeting new people daily, starting conversations and then “successfully closing the deal” in this role reporting to the Department Manager.

This role will support the business with the day-to-day management of key produce wholesale customers. This will be all-encompassing, and you'll be on top of all things happening in the supply chain to those customers. You will liaise with internal teams and the customers to ensure the smooth supply of produce to a variety of wholesalers. You'll help the business continue to thrive in the wholesale sector by offering simple, no-nonsense service and supply of quality produce. You'll be able to pick up the phone and trade with wholesalers and deliver sales. You will have the ambition to develop in the future and will help build the business for the long term. 

Organised - strong time management and planning skills along with proven analytical skills with attention to detail being a core strength. Customer focused and the ability to effectively manage relationships will be in your toolkit.  Your ability to work at pace, delivering against targets in order to develop and improve the business that sees your results-driven approach to take your career - as well as the JH Leavy & Co brand - from strength to strength. 

The ideal candidate will come from the fresh produce sector and will understand the fresh produce supply chain and all of its challenges. You will be very down-to-earth, a self-starter and will be willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in wherever required. Prima-donna's need not apply. You will be a real team player who is willing to do what is right for the business and customers.

In return for joining us as our Sales Manager - Wholesale Veg Category we’ll offer you a competitive salary between $100K- $150K Base + Super.
