Dog Walker

Are you someone who thrives outdoors, loves dogs, and enjoys working independently? We are looking for a dedicated Dog Walker who is committed to their weekly clients and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This role suits someone who is reliable, confident with large dogs, and able to think quickly on their feet. You will be problem-solving on the go, adapting to changing situations, and ensuring every dog in your care has a safe, enjoyable and enriching outing.

We welcome applicants from all ages and backgrounds. This is an ongoing position and not suitable for those seeking short-term or school holiday work.

• Paid travel between clients' homes at $1 per kilometre as per the award
• Work outdoors and stay fit while you're on the job
• Spend your days with dogs

• All equipment supplied

• Walking dogs one on one from their homes and transporting them safely to nearby parks, trails and nature reserves
• Managing small groups of up to three dogs on lead
• Using confident dog-handling skills, including reading body language and behaviour
• Supporting training and enrichment activities as part of each walk
• Maintaining professional communication with clients and the team

This role is ideal for someone who is genuinely interested in dog behaviour and committed to ongoing learning.

• Reliable car suitable for transporting two dogs and current driver's licence (essential)
• Physically fit and comfortable walking up to four hours per day
• Available Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9am–2pm (flexible for the right applicant)
• Finished school (due to all walks being done during school hours)
• Confident and experienced with large breed dogs
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions including rain, cold and hot weather
• Ability to fill occasional shifts at short notice

Applicants without a car or licence cannot be considered for this position.

• Between 9am–3pm
• Additional fill-in shifts as required
