Summary Of Job

The Project Manager will have responsibility for projects ranging from customer-driven engineering projects, internal research and development (IR&D) and capital equipment procurement and commissioning. Deliverables include project planning, cost tracking, delivery schedule management and risk mitigation.

Key Accountabilities

Project management responsibility for multiple assigned projects, including planning, cost tracking, delivery schedule and risk mitigationLead communication for diverse project specific stakeholders eg: suppliers, customers and Moog internal teamsWorking with the engineering team to ensure technical and commercial support are provided for products/programs including design and after sales supportEnsure that designs meet applicable standards (performance, reliability, producibility, legal compliance etc) and are adequately documentedProvide regular reports on project KPIs , including EAC, budget burndown, and on-time deliveryDevelop and utilise tools to provide insights on project performance and to assist in task schedulingAssist with the creation of designs, cost estimates and technical proposals for new business opportunitiesFacilitate project management for specific customer projects and support direct customer relationshipsSupport the process, and ensure compliance to the project management and engineering processesProvide contractual project support, co-ordinate contractual negotiation/review and support commercial sales negotiationFollow Moog systems and procedures for product development, design and production and contribute to the development of improved systems and procedures

Qualifications

RequiredTertiary Qualification in EngineeringTertiary Qualification in Project Management/Business Management or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP/PMBOK)
Work Experience

RequiredMinimum 5 years’ relevant experienceAdvantageousDefence industry experienceExperience with project management tools (MS Projects/JIRA etc)

Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain the required Australian security clearance.
