Home Assistant

An elderly, independant gentleman who is a self reliant, self funded retiree living in large home with small acreage and established gardens needs some assistance with general tasks and outings.

This person would be responsible for and assisting with the following duties:-

• Planning and preparation of meals

• Weekly shopping in the local area and incidental requirements

• Running errands in the local area and accompanying for appointments and ad hoc outings

• General maintenance and tidiness of the property and residence including some gardening

• Performing tasks daily to maintain the home including laundry, kitchen, general cleaning & tidying (deep clean by others)

Must have own vehicle with current drivers licence, first aid certificate, National Police check and must be an Australian resident. Must speak fluent English with good communication skills, be honest, reliable and non-smoker.

This position is based on a 25 hour working week over five days. A private self contained single accommodation unit adjacent the main residence (including outgoings of electricity & wifi) may be available after a qualifying period. No overnight visitors or pets allowed.

Further remuneration and agreement to be negotiated with the right person.
