Sprout Agribusiness is a professional services firm, specialising in Agribusiness Finance and business advisory. We typically work with farmers aged between 25 and 55, who are in the growth phase of their family owned business. SproutAg is passionate about seeking innovative business advisory and alternate finance solutions in agribusiness and see this as essential to the growth and evolution of the Sector. Our all-encompassing service offering includes term debt, livestock finance, equipment finance, home and investment property finance, and business advisory services including succession planning.

The Role

This is an exciting role for a Mortgage/Home Loan Rural Lifestyle Specialist with a strong interest in and understanding of the residential and rural-residential lending market. 

The position is located in either of our offices situated in Tamworth, Wagga Wagga or Yass.

Your primary function will be to provide lending solutions that best meet the client's needs and financial situation. Your duties will require you to manage all aspects of the home loan process including (but not limited to):

• Undertake loan interviews/meetings and provide recommendations.

• Compilation, processing and submission of home loan applications and associated documentation.

• Liaise with both lenders and clients to track the progress of the loan to achieve favourable outcomes and efficient settlements.

• Strong understanding of and ability to meet, comply and complete Compliance obligations/legislation.

• A sound understanding of the rural and regional property/lending market.

• Genuinely client focused & solutions-driven.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the last 2 years in consumer home lending.

• Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking is desired, or relevant qualifications in business.

• A thorough understanding of reading complex financial statements for the purpose serviceability assessments.

• A strong knowledge of current credit policies, and requirements & objectives

• Strong analytical, process & problem-solving skills.

• Proactive & positive attitude with the ability to work both autonomously & as part of a team.
