Parts Storeperson - Toowoomba Toyota

Toowoomba Toyota is on the look out for out next superstar Storeperson. This position is integral to the operation of the Parts department. We are looking for someone who is process driven with strong attention to detail and thrives in a well structured, and organised environment. The main focus of the Parts Storeperson is to receive, handle and dispatch goods while carrying out the functions involved in the warehousing and storage of genuine parts and accessories .

What you'll be doing
The Parts Storeperson carries out a range of duties  including but not limited to:

• Identifying automotive parts and components

• Receiving, and unpacking of inbound parts stock, allocation to correct locations.

• Picking and packing of outbound parts stock

• Carrying out storage and stock control procedures, including stocktake

• Materials handling

• Computer data input

• Manual handling while maintaining a safe working environment, adhere to WH&S guidelines

• Assist in keeping Parts Department clean, well organised, and up to date

• Relieve and assist Parts Delivery Driver when required.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• Qualifications and/or experience in a similar role (desired - training will be provided for the right applicant)

• Technical parts knowledge in the automotive field

• Flexibility and willingness to adapt in fast paced and dynamic working conditions

• Customer Service focused

• Strong computer skills including data entry

• Effective time management skills and strong attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Willingness to learn and accept feedback

• Ability to work productively as part of a team and unsupervised

• Commitment to Toyota’s goals and operational standards.

• Current valid Queensland Manual drivers licence

• Current valid Forklift licence (desired - training will be provided for the right applicant)

The successful applicant will be given a detailed induction program and ongoing training will be provided.
