About the Role

We are seeking a full-time HR/HC Delivery Driver to join our Logistics team.

This is more than a standard driving role. You will deliver Grainline equipment to dealers and farms across Australia, working with specialised and often challenging loads while representing Grainline directly with our customers.

The role involves regular interstate travel, with deliveries throughout New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.

You will also assist with equipment assembly, minor servicing, repairs and general logistics or yard duties when required.

Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, you key responsibilities will include:

• Safely and efficiently delivering Grainline equipment to dealers and customers across Australia.

• Loading and unloading trucks and equipment.

• Applying appropriate load restraint techniques for oversized, unusual and specialised loads.

• Ensuring equipment is transported safely and protected from damage.

• Completing required delivery, transport and compliance documentation.

• Conducting basic vehicle and equipment inspections.

• Assisting customers and dealers during deliveries.

• Supporting in-field assembly, minor servicing and repairs where required.

• Assisting with general logistics, yard and operational duties between deliveries.

• Maintaining Grainline vehicles and equipment in a clean and professional condition.

About You

We are looking for a reliable, practical and adaptable person who takes pride in doing the job properly.

Licenses and Experience:

• Current HR or HC Driver Licence.

• HC licence is highly regarded.

• Demonstrated safe driving history.

• Current Forklift Licence is preferred.

• Experience transporting machinery, agricultural equipment, oversized loads or unusual freight would be highly regarded.

• Experience with load restraint is highly regarded.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving ability.

• Confidence loading, restraining and transporting challenging loads.

• Strong safety awareness.

• Reliable and able to work independently while travelling.

• Positive attitude and professional customer-service approach.

• Good communication and time-management skills.

• Physically capable of completing the requirements of the role.

• Willingness to assist outside normal driving duties when required.

Availability

• Willing and able to travel regularly throughout Australia.

• Comfortable spending multiple nights away from home during the working week.

• Flexibility around delivery schedules and changing operational requirements.
