Female Disability Support Workers

Carlitas Caring Services Pty Ltd is seeking highly motivated female disability support workers to work with our team of Disability Support Workers in the Redcliffe area. The Disability Support Worker provides support to NDIS participants to assist them in achieving goals set out in their NDIS plans.

MUST have:

• Experience in Disability Support Work and/or Aged Care.
• Qualifications in the Disability and/or Aged Care Sector.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• A current National Police Check (must be less than 12 months old).
• The NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• A current NDISWC (Yellow Card).
• An Infection Control training certificate.
• Registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• A valid Driver's license.

Position Duties:

• Assist participants in completing Self-Care and Domestic activities.
• Perform other tasks, including meal preparation and cooking.
• Build rapport with the participants and their families.
• Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained for the participants and their families.
• Complete daily shift notes for participants.
• Manage your own safety and the team's safety whilst on the job.
• Abide by organisation policies & procedures and all relevant government legislation and standards.

Daytime Shifts:

• Tuesday
• Thursday
• Saturday

Afternoon/Evening Shifts:

• Monday to Sunday (7 x days)
