genesIT is an Australian-owned technology consulting and recruitment business, and we're looking for an addition to our talented team. 
 
Someone who is an energetic go-getter who can professionally represent what genesIT stands for.
Someone who enjoys meeting people, opening doors, creating conversations and turning relationships into business. 
 
This is not an internal recruitment role.
This is not an account-management role where a portfolio is handed to you.
And this is definitely not a role for someone who prefers waiting for leads to arrive.
 
 
What you'll do
 
You'll have the freedom to build relationships across the technology market and create new opportunities for genesIT.
 
That means:

• Building and leveraging your established network of CIOs, technology leaders, delivery leaders, hiring managers and talent decision-makers
• Getting out from behind the laptop - coffees, lunches, events, meetups and face-to-face meetings
• Prospecting and opening new client relationships
• Understanding what's happening inside organisations before a job advertisement appears
• Creating recruitment and consulting opportunities
• Running recruitment assignments end-to-end
• Introducing the broader genesIT capability when a client problem is bigger than simply supplying a person
• Developing relationships that turn into repeatable commercial opportunities

You'll be supported by an experienced leadership and delivery team. Your job is to create the opportunities.
 
 
Who we are looking for
 
We're much more interested in what you've achieved than your job title.
 
You might currently be a:

• 360° Recruitment Consultant
• Senior Recruitment Consultant
• Technology Recruiter
• Business Development Executive or Manager with recruitment experience
• Technology sales professional who understands the services market

What matters is that you can demonstrate:

• A genuine track record of winning new business
• Confidence approaching people you've never met
• Strong face-to-face social and relationship-building skills
• Commercial judgement - knowing the difference between activity and opportunity
• Persistence and results focused
• An existing network in technology, digital, project delivery or professional services is highly desirable
• The desire to build something meaningful.
