Associate to Senior Associate – Insurance Litigation

An exciting opportunity is available for an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Canberra office of a highly regarded national law firm.

You will work closely with an experienced Partner and a collaborative insurance team on a diverse range of complex matters, including:

• Public liability claims
• Historical abuse matters
• Commonwealth workers’ compensation
• CTP claims
• Litigation in the ACT and NSW Courts, ACAT and the Administrative Review Tribunal

The firm represents major insurers, self-insured organisations and government departments, providing exposure to high-quality clients and challenging matters.

This opportunity would suit a high-performing Associate ready to step up to Senior Associate level or an emerging Senior Associate seeking greater responsibility and career progression.

About you:

• At least 3 years’ post-admission experience
• Experience in defendant liability, CTP, historical abuse or another insurance-related area
• Strong written communication and file-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous
