Education and professional background

• Tertiary qualification in healthcare, education, public policy or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cancer care
• Minimum 2 years project management experience in healthcare environments

Technical skills and knowledge

• Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training and education programs to health professionals and consumers
• Demonstrated experience supporting and managing projects end to end, including supporting and delegating to Project Administrators
• Experience with quality improvement frameworks in health settings
• Knowledge of change management principles and practices
• Proven ability to analyse data and prepare comprehensive reports
• Experience with online platforms such as online learning management systems (Moodle), customer relationship management systems (Acuity), Mailchimp, survey monkey, social media platforms, video conferencing tools, Microsoft Office suite

Communication and interpersonal skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse professional groups

• Postgraduate qualification in public health, education, nursing, allied health, communications, or related field
• Formal project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)
• Knowledge and experience in cancer survivorship care, including how care can be delivered across health sectors
• Knowledge of Victorian cancer policy and funding models
• Experience in adult learning, coaching or mentoring in the health sector
• Experience working with First Nations and First Nations organisations

Lead and deliver the CPPiCS program to enhance survivorship care across Victoria

• Lead the delivery and evaluation of the 5th iteration of Clinical Placement Program in Cancer Survivorship
• Be a strong advocate for survivorship care and promote the ACSC profile
• Maintain knowledge of national cancer survivorship policy and guidance
• Contribute to the collection of data and quality survivorship outcomes
• Contribute to and support education of cancer survivors, carers and health professionals in a variety of formats
• Develop and implement communication strategies that engage stakeholders and promote recruitment to the program in consultation with Peter Mac Communications department as required
• Work effectively with key stakeholders including clinical services and primary/community care organisations to develop and deliver education activities
• Other duties as directed by ACSC Manager/Operations & Projects Lead

Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to deliver program outcomes

• Work effectively with cross-functional teams consisting of executive sponsors and team leaders, divisional and service managers, clinicians, support staff and patients to plan and implement service improvement

• Network and consult with a range of internal and external stakeholders for effective project planning, implementation and evaluation
• Work effectively with key stakeholders including clinical services and primary/community care organisations to develop and deliver education activities

Manage projects using structured methodology and tools

• Manage and lead allocated projects using project management tools and methodology to track, document, evaluate and communicate performance including project planning and briefing, risk analysis and management, timeline tools, evaluation summaries, and communication and dissemination plans
• Act as secretariat for projects as required
• Delegate tasks appropriately to CPPiCS Project Administrator
• Provide support to CPPiCS Project Administrator in project delivery
• Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills and support others to develop these skills
• Ensure project documentation and governance is maintained and meets requirements (including requirements of funding bodies) and is accessible to the team
• Utilise clinical and non-clinical online platforms effectively to deliver projects and communicate about projects
• Utilise effective change management skills
