Field Service Technician (Adelaide, SA)

Position SummaryAs we grow our presence in Australia, we’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our expanding team in Adelaide. You’ll be the face of STERIS in South Australia, installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting edge Endoscopy, Operating Theatre, and Infection Control equipment. Your work will directly support hospitals and clinics in delivering safe, high quality care.Ready to make a difference? What You Will DoInstall, maintain, and repair STERIS medical equipment.Deliver exceptional customer support onsite, by phone, and via email.Diagnose faults and perform urgent repairs (including after-hours on-call rotation).Provide user training and technical guidance.Maintain accurate service records and manage spare parts inventory.Identify and recommend training needs and process improvements.
RequiredThe Experience, Skills and Abilities NeededTrade/Technical Certificate or Diploma with hands-on technical service experience.Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (car allowance provided).Willingness to travel across SA and work flexible hours.Self-motivated with strong decision making skills.
PreferredPrevious field service experience.Restricted Electrical License.Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Customer focused mindset and strong communication skills.
