Workshop Technician

Our Team at Newcastle RV Super Centre have an opening for a team member within our service department. The position is suited to anyone mechanically minded or with the capacity for on the job learning.

Preferred Requirements:

1. Experience in a similar role

2. Mechanically minded

3. High attention to detail & a strong work ethic

Desirable but not essential:

1. Servicing knowledge would be advantageous

2. Knowledge of 12V wiring / 12V Systems

3. Fork-lift ticket

4. Fabrication experience

5. Light Vehicle mechanic

Duties to include:

• Servicing & repairs to caravans 

• Internal ply work and warranty work

• Pre-delivery inspections on our new vans

• Must be reliable, punctual, have a can do attitude with high attention to detail and a willingness to learn, must be willing to work as a part of a team as well as on your own.

• Trade qualification desirable but not essential

The position is Monday to Friday with occasional overtime as required.
