The Role

We’re seeking an accomplished and visionary Executive General Manager – Architecture to lead the design direction and delivery of Crown’s major property developments across our integrated resorts.

Reporting to the Chief Property Design & Development Officer, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across end-to-end architectural delivery — from concept and feasibility through to construction and completion. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, you will shape landmark developments that elevate guest experience, reinforce Crown’s brand, and deliver world-class design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and delivery of complex, high-profile development projects across Crown’s portfolio

• Develop and oversee design briefs, concepts, plans and specifications ensuring alignment with brand, operational and commercial objectives

• Manage consultant architects, engineers and contractors, ensuring quality, compliance and timely delivery

• Oversee procurement processes, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts and administer agreements to achieve optimal project outcomes

• Drive financial performance across projects, managing budgets, costs, variations and reporting to executive stakeholders

• Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to translate business requirements into world-class design solutions

• Provide expert architectural guidance on feasibility, design direction, and long-term asset value

• Ensure all projects meet regulatory, safety, accessibility and environmental standards

• Build strong, influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all phases of delivery

About You

You are an influential and commercially astute architectural leader with a proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex developments within luxury hospitality or comparable sectors.

You bring a strong combination of strategic vision, technical excellence and executive-level stakeholder engagement.

You’ll bring:

• Extensive experience leading architecture functions across major, multi-disciplinary projects

• Proven success delivering large-scale developments from concept through to completion

• Strong commercial acumen, including cost management, procurement and contract negotiation

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level

• Deep knowledge of architectural design standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience building and leading high-performing teams

• A refined ability to balance design excellence with operational and commercial outcomes

• Tertiary qualification in Architecture (or equivalent)
