Job Summary:

As part of our growth strategy Austruck X is expanding its team to meet our customer demand. We have multiple roles available for Truck Body & Trailer, Fabricators/Welders, Assemblers/Finishers to ensure truck bodies and trailers are built, assembled and finished to highest quality and design. Working under general supervision, the roles are responsible for delivering high-quality build and finishing that meet customer expectations and company standards.

Serving industries such as transport, construction and agriculture we pride ourselves on delivering efficient, durable, and innovative transport solutions that exceed industry standards.

Please note our operational hours are from 6:00am to 2.06pm Monday to Friday.

The Role:

Available Roles:

• 2 x Truck Body & Trailer Assemblers/Finishers

• 4 x Truck body & Trailer Welders/Fabricators

• 1 x Paint Prepper

• 1 x Factory hand/cleaner

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Qualification in Truck body & trailer Build, Assembly, Repair and finishing or a relevant trade.

• Proven experience in high quality welding, electrical, sheeting, tailgate & door fittings.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Good problem-solving skills and adaptability.

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

• Commitment to safety and quality.

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Ability to work safely in a workshop environment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Excellent time and task management
