OSHC Educational Leader

Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced OSHC Educational Leader to join our thriving Outside School Hours Care service. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to influence program quality, mentor staff, and help shape an engaging environment where children can learn, grow and belong.

Working alongside our OSHC Director, you will play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional care and educational experiences while fostering strong partnerships with families, educators and the wider College community.

About the Role

As the Educational Leader, you will work closely with the OSHC Director to support the day-to-day operation of the service and drive educational excellence. You will:

• Lead the development and implementation of engaging educational programs

• Guide and support educators through mentoring and coaching

• Promote reflective practice and continuous improvement

• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and legislative requirements

• Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and strategic development of the service

• Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider school community

• Assist with operational leadership, administration and service management

• Act as Responsible Person in Day-to-Day Charge when required.

About You

You are a positive and collaborative leader who is passionate about children's learning and wellbeing. You will bring:

• Diploma in Early Childhood, School-Aged Education and Care, or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place framework

• Previous experience in OSHC, childcare or education leadership

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills

• A commitment to mentoring and developing others

• Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities

• A growth mindset and passion for educational excellence

• A commitment to supporting the Christian ethos and values of Redeemer Lutheran College.

Essential Requirements

• Current Paid Blue Card and eligibility to work in Australia.

• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications
