Cluster Conference & Events Sales Executive

We’re looking for a passionate Cluster Conference & Event Sales Executive to join our team at the Panthers Precinct!

Working across an exciting multi-asset portfolio including Pullman Sydney Penrith, Mercure Penrith, Event Centre Panthers and Western Sydney Convention Centre, you’ll grow key accounts, secure new business and help bring memorable conferences and events to life.

Pullman Sydney Penrith & Western Sydney Convention Centre

About the Role

The Cluster Conference & Event Sales Executive drives revenue across the Panthers Precinct portfolio, including Pullman Sydney Penrith, Mercure Penrith, Event Centre Panthers and WSCC. The role manages key accounts, generates new business and builds strong client relationships while working closely with internal teams to deliver successful events and maximise revenue and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive conference, meeting and event sales across the precinct, focusing on new business and account growth
• Identify and convert corporate, association and group event opportunities to achieve revenue targets
• Manage key accounts and client relationships from enquiry through to post-event follow-up, driving repeat business and client satisfaction
• Develop proposals, negotiate contracts and maintain accurate CRM records and lead follow-up
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to maximise revenue and market opportunities
• Represent the precinct at industry events, trade shows, and site inspections to drive awareness and bookings
• Mentor and guide junior sales staff or coordinators as required

About You

• Previous events sales experience, with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine drive to achieve results
•  Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and industry partners
•  Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude, proactive and collaborative approach and the ability to build trust with both clients and internal teams
• A passion for creating memorable experiences and growing your career within the events and hospitality industry
