Associate - Corporate and Financial Communications

GRACosway is looking for an Associate to join our Melbourne office, working as part of our national Corporate and Financial Communications practice. This full-time role would suit someone in the early stages of their career and offers plenty of variety and room to grow.

About the role As an Associate, you'll work with colleagues across the team to support GRACosway’s clients on a range of projects, including high-profile transactions, issues management briefs and reputation building through corporate communications mandates. A typical day for an Associate might involve:
Preparing detailed media analysis for colleagues and clientsConducting research and preparing comprehensive client briefsDeveloping high quality written materials, including media releases, news summaries and client correspondenceUsing digital platforms to conduct media monitoring and prepare client coverage reportsAssisting with planning and execution of client communications activitiesProviding input into client communications strategies and attending client meetings
About you GRACosway’s Associates come from different professional backgrounds and offer a mix of skills and strengths. Our ideal candidate for this role will have:
Tertiary qualifications and 1-3 years’ experience (or established interest) in media, communications, reputation management, journalism or a related fieldStrong writing, editing and document presentation skills with outstanding attention to detailSound time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesPlenty of energy and initiative, coupled with an interest in problem-solvingStrong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
You have a strong client service ethic, are interested in the world around you, and are capable of managing a variety of tasks and anticipating the needs of colleagues and clients.
