The Service

KU Goulburn Preschool is proudly assessed by NSW Department of Education as Exceeding the National Quality Standard. The service is based on high-quality early childhood education and care for children aged 3 - 5 years with a strong transition to school curriculum and run by university qualified teachers. 

Our beautiful outdoor area is a standout feature, thoughtfully and purposefully designed to inspire and promote curiosity, creativity and a love of nature. Open from Monday to Friday from 8am - 3.30pm during NSW School terms, we provide a balanced and enriching early childhood program that encourages meaningful learning, relationships, exploration and growth.

The Role

As a casual educators and teacher with KU Children’s Services, you will: 

• Have experience working in early childhood settings,  
• Proven communication skills and ability to work as part of a team, 
• Be able to build strong relationships with both children and families, 
• Be committed to providing high-quality, play-based education and care, 
• Support permanent educators in creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments, 
• Enjoy flexible working arrangements to fit your lifestyle.

Of course, you will need: 

• Current NSW Employee Working with Children Check, 
• NESA Accreditation for ECTs
• A recognised Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent as approved by ACECQA,
• Complete Child Protection training via GECCKO,
• Right to work in Australia,
• Ability to provide 2 current relevant professional references.
