This exciting opportunity is perfect for skilled mechanical tradespeople who would like to diversify their skills and become an Area Sales Manager. Utilising the knowledge you have gained throughout your career, we will provide you with the training to take that knowledge to the next level and reward your efforts with a generous base salary and uncapped commission arrangements.
You will work alongside some of the industry's top salespeople, going out in the field and prospecting for new clients, while building and nurturing existing relationships to build your portfolio while growing the Access Services Group footprint throughout the SA market.
Primarily this role is responsible for building market share through developing new business, however you will also work with our existing sales and accounts team to target customers from the existing market.
Based out of our Wingfield branch your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Utilising your service knowledge, you will hunt and secure new business opportunities across the SA region
- Actively building a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Turning cold and warm leads into long-term customers
- Becoming a trusted solutions partner to your clients
- Consistently achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Conducting regular customer site visits and strengthening relationships
- Preparing fast, accurate quotes and tailored hire solutions
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service
This is a full-time, field-focused role works Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm based out of our Wingfield branch.
We are searching for someone with energy, grit, and a genuine hunger for success - someone who sees opportunity where others see obstacles.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Trade qualifications or Industry experience bringing technical knowledge to a sales role.
- Experience working with access equipment, forklifts or machinery will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to effectively work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and successfully prioritise work.
- Strong motivation to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- A fun, energetic and hardworking approach.
- Willingness to learn and be coached for success.
- Current driver's license is essential.
