VR GP – unsupervised evening / weekend position

About the role

We are seeking a vocationally registered GP (VR GP) to join our established, modern, GP-owned medical practice in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. This is an unsupervised position offering evening and weekend sessions, ideal for a GP looking for flexibility within a well-supported and professionally run practice.

Our clinic has a well-established patient base and provides a friendly, collaborative environment where GPs are supported by experienced nursing and administrative teams. We are a mixed-billing practice and an accredited teaching practice, with a broad range of services available onsite, including pathology, radiology, pharmacy and allied health. Our focus is on providing high-quality patient care while creating a positive and supportive workplace for our doctors and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide unsupervised evening and weekend sessions

• Deliver high-quality patient care

• Work collaboratively with nursing and administrative teams

About you

• Vocationally registered GP

• Current AHPRA registration

• Appropriate medical indemnity insurance

• GP experience in Australia

• Currently residing in Australia

• Doctors with appropriate AHPRA registration and eligibility to work after hours under a 19AB exemption are encouraged to enquire

• Overseas-trained GPs are welcome to apply, including those with a 19AB exemption for after-hours work
