Freeze Dry Proteins (www.freezedryproteins.com.au) is a manufacturing company based in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. Having created the World’s first Certified Organic Collagen; Freeze Dry Proteins (FDP) are now pushing full steam ahead with global brands and commercialisation. 

With several exciting new projects coming to fruition, we are looking for an experienced Production all-rounder to come and join the team to support our rapid growth.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Practical hands-on experience within food production is preferred. 

An understanding of WHS, OHS and Food Safety Procedures.

 POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Responsible as a team member for the efficient operation and hygiene of the production facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain Quality Control throughout the process by ensuring all product is handled and packaged to the correct product specifications.

• Operating food processing and packaging machinery.

• Ensure the factory area is kept in a clean and hygienic condition at all times, ensuring the factory is clean for the next day's production

• Maintaining the highest standard of food safety and quality.

• General duties as directed by the Production Manager.

WHO YOU ARE:

Honest and reliable, you don't shy away from hard work. This is a challenging role requiring multi tasking and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast paced environment. You need to have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

A current drivers license and reliable car are essential as we are based in the Industrial Estate in Yandina where there is limited public transport. 

A Q Fever vaccination will need to be undertaken if you are chosen for the role.  Pay is dictated by the Food, Tobacco and Manufacturing Award and will reflect your experience.
