Excavator Operator / Skilled Tradesman – Civil Infrastructure

Ironbuilt Infrastructure is a growing civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure projects across NSW, including sewer pump stations, sewer rising mains, water infrastructure and major civil works.

We are currently seeking Skilled Skilled Tradesman / Excavator Operator to support our civil infrastructure projects based in Orange and across the NSW region.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable both operating machinery and assisting with civil construction activities on site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating excavators for trenching and civil works

• Working safely around existing underground services and utilities

• Supporting civil construction and infrastructure installation

• Maintaining high-quality work standards and safe work areas

• Working closely with site supervisors and civil crews

Trades We Are Interested In

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:

• Formwork / Concreting

• Plumbing Sydney Water accredited

• Civil infrastructure works

• Underground services installation

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience operating excavators on civil construction projects

• Experience trenching and working around underground services

• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices

• Relevant plant tickets / VOC

• Driver’s licence

• Ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction team
