About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting student success through expert advice and oversight of academic progress matters.

As the Senior Adviser, Student Success (Progress), you will act as a subject matter expert, ensuring student academic progress matters are managed efficiently, consistently and with care. You will provide specialist advice, analyse complex information, and support informed decision-making across academic progress processes. Working closely with Faculty Academic Progress Committees and a wide range of stakeholders, you will contribute to fair, accurate and student-centred outcomes while identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery. 

In this role, you will:

• Provide expert advice and support on complex student academic progress matters.
• Analyse information and prepare recommendations that support consistent and informed decision-making.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with academic and professional staff across the University.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and service delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate and prioritise work to ensure timely, accurate and high-quality case management and support.

About you

You will bring:

• A degree with substantial subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and expertise.
• Experience managing complex work and providing professional advice in administrative, educational or service-focused environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide insights.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, coordinate priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
