Distributor Technical Representative - SA

Working from our distributor business, SA Color in Edwardstown, we have a vacancy for a Technical & Sales Representative. Using your technical/spray painting expertise you will provide support to our end-user customers. Reporting to the Business Manager, this position will also focus on promoting sales strategies, driving sales and customer satisfaction whilst increasing the SA Color value proposition.

To be successful in this role it’s essential you can develop and maintain customer relationships and have a solid technical background in spray painting.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Demonstrate new and existing products to end-users.

• Plan, coordinate and lead system trials for target end-users.

• Install Paint systems and support equipment (e.g. mixing machines, colour tools) for end-users.

• Provide technical, colour support and resolve application enquiries as raised by end-users.

• Provide training to new and existing end-users.

• Promote & support SA Color Third Party (Non-Axalta Brand) products to end users.

• Work with Third Party Supplier representatives to increase product knowledge and increase sales.

• Work to continually improve customer relations by focussing on the customers key drivers of satisfaction.

• Proactively seek opportunities to win new Business.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Must have Trade certificate in vehicle spray painting, plus a minimum of 4 years spray painting experience.

• Experience in dealing with customers and potential prospects within the automotive market place.

• PC experience essential in Windows and Office environment.

• Strong communication and time management skills.

• Prepared to travel regionally.
