MR Truck Driver

Kenthurst Nursery is proudly one of Sydney’s largest wholesale nurseries. Spanning over three large sites we have grown exponentially since establishment in 1980. With a team of specialists, we are dedicated to supplying top quality trees and shrubs to all landscapers, landscape architects, landscape designers, garden centres and developers alike.

Situated in the quiet suburbs of Kenthurst and Glenorie, we have devoted over 40 acres in land to our production. With a team that has experience in both Propagation and tree development, Kenthurst Nursery offers one of the largest varieties of ground covers, grasses, hedges, and trees in the Sydney metro region. 

About the Role: 

A FULL-TIME immediate start position exists for an experienced, well presented and customer focused MR Truck driver. 

• Permanent Full-time position

• Minimum 38 hours with optional overtime

• Monday to Friday, Start at 6:00am 

• Deliveries mainly cover Sydney metropolitan area with occasional deliveries to the Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong.

• Truck Provided: 2019 ISUZU FSR 140/260 Pantech 14T Truck with Tail Gate Lift/Loader 

Duties include:

• Pre-Loading deliveries prior to dispatch

• Delivering to various site across Sydney Metropolitan area with the occasional deliveries to the Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong areas

• Contacting customers prior to delivery

• Unloading deliveries

• Picking up stock from other off site locations (Other suppliers)

• Filling out log books and truck manifests

• Washing and maintaining truck cleanliness

• Please note, the role involves manual loading and unloading of plant material therefore applicants must be physically fit

• Some general nursery work may be required

About you:

• MR License required

• an excellent driving record;

• an excellent knowledge of the Sydney Metropolitan area;

• be physically fit, as the role involves heavy lifting and handling;

• good communication & organisational skills;

• willing to assist the loading and unloading of Kenthurst Nursery trucks;

• take pride in your job;

• Must be available to work from 06:00am to 03:00pm, Monday to Friday
