Freight Link Couriers are expanding our business to Townsville. Join our team as we increase our reach across Far North Qld.

We are searching for HR drivers who are looking for a stable and rewarding job close to home.

We are providers for last mile freight, meaning you will be performing local pickup and delivery work in and around Townsville. Your freight profile will look like: palletized, skids, wrapped, strapped, labelled and fit for travel. You will have forklifts, electric pallet jacks, straps, scanners, digital environment and all the tools to do your job efficiently and satisfactory.

You will be part of a team that is driven to succeed. Your equipment is modern, well maintained, all the tools you need to perform your job and more. We are part of the modern-day transport industry, striving to provide outstanding service to our local communities across the North.

Your responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy vehicle for deliveries and pickups.

• Ensure your load is secure and transported safely and correctly.

• Be able to use a handheld scanner to complete your deliveries.

• Represent our business with professionalism and a smile.

• Outstanding customer relations, eye catching presentation

Requirements:

• A recent driving record check provided by you.

• Current HR / MC Truck licence.

• Experience in a truck driving role.

• Great work ethic, punctuality and reliability.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of Townsville and surrounding areas.
