Major Account Manager -Brisbane

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is looking for a Major Accounts Manager to join our Brisbane Branch in Larapinta. Reporting to the National Sales Manager – Major Accounts, you will play a key role in growing and developing our major customer portfolio, while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the Brisbane market.

About the Role

Based at our Brisbane Branch in Larapinta, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with TMHA's major account customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities.

A key focus of the role will be to grow customer accounts and increase TMHA's market presence, while developing a strong understanding of each customer's business, challenges and future requirements.

You'll work closely with internal teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions and deliver the right outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of major accounts in line with TMHA's business strategy.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to increase account growth.
• Analyse market and sales trends and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
• Develop and implement sales strategies based on market intelligence and customer requirements.
• Manage and facilitate customer tenders and agreements in accordance with TMHA procedures.
• Promote new products, campaigns and initiatives to major account customers.
• Monitor performance against agreed sales and business objectives.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Manage sales-related expenditure within agreed budgets.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, customer focused and driven to achieve results.

You'll ideally have:

• Proven experience in sales and/or major account management.
• A strong track record of developing customer relationships and driving sales growth.
• Experience managing and growing a customer portfolio.
• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of business planning.
• Experience preparing and managing tenders and major customer agreements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Confidence working with customers at all levels.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to analyse and present information effectively.
• Experience within the forklift, material handling or industrial equipment industry will be highly regarded.
• A formal qualification in Sales, Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline will be advantageous.
