We currently have a vacancy for a Specialist Apprentice Training, reporting to the Supervisor Apprentice Program.
The Challenge Ahead
As Specialist Apprentice Training, you will play a key role in shaping the future trade workforce at Olympic Dam by designing, coordinating and delivering apprentice onboarding and development programs. This role combines hands-on training delivery, program management and stakeholder engagement to ensure apprentices build the capabilities, confidence and practical skills required for successful careers within BHP.
Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Training and operational teams, you will support apprentice progression through structured onboarding, learning experiences and ongoing performance monitoring. You will also engage with schools, training providers and community organisations to promote apprenticeship pathways and help attract future talent into the resources industry.

Work Location
This role is based at Olympic Dam, South Australia, one of Australia's most significant mining and processing operations. This role will be on a 7/7 days only roster. You will work closely with site-based operational teams, training specialists and external education partners to support apprentice development and workforce capability outcomes.
