Car Rental Sales Agent & Detailer/Driver

A2B Car Rentals are a fast growing, family owned and operated rental car company, catering to private rentals and accident replacement rentals and are seeking someone to join our team in Canberra Fri-Mon 8am-5pm to start on Friday 2nd October.

This will be a varied role that includes detailing. driving and office work.

We have been operating for 20 years and have a fleet of 450+ vehicles.

We work in a close-knit team and value strong work ethic.

Previous experience in the Car Rental Industry is desired but not expected.

About the role

Duties include;

• Renting cars to clients
• Car return
• Telephone (incoming) enquiries and bookings
• Office administration
• Driving to pickup and drop off customers at the airport.
• Detailing vehicles to a high standard.
• Completing damage reports

Work hours;

• Friday to Monday, 8am-5pm.

To be successful in this role:

• You will have strong customer service experience and skills, ideally in a similar environment.
• You will pride yourself on your sales skills and feel confident recommending products and upgrades to customers.
• You will enjoy working autonomously and as part of a team.
• You will have intermediate computer skills be able to adapt quickly to a new system
• You will hold a current drivers licence
• You will be confident driving a range of vehicles including automatic and manual transmissions and larger vehicles.
• You will be punctual, reliable and well presented.
• You will have a good attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and offer help in any department.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Pay: From $33.05 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
