About the role
We are on the lookout for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team! The Senior Corporate Accountant will ensure that Management and Board Reporting, IFRS compliant statutory Financial Statements, and Taxation Reporting and payment requirements of the Greenstone Group of companies are met to the satisfaction of relevant stakeholders.
This is a 12-Month contract opportunity.
This Will Be Achieved Through
Preparing Financial Reporting and maintaining supporting Accounting Policy documentation and schedules, as requiredSupporting any audit process covering all Financial or Taxation ReportingAnalysis and preparation of monthly tax provision & annual tax returnReviewing transactional data and processes to ensure the data quality of all financial information used in Financial and Taxation ReportingLiaising with stakeholders and users of Financial Reports to ensure value and effectiveness of reporting producedMaintaining and improving upon Finance systems and processes to enable enhanced, timely and accurate Financial and Taxation reporting to the satisfaction of all stakeholders
What are we looking for?
Qualified Chartered AccountantPreparation of Australian Company Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements and Fringe Benefits Tax ReturnsPreparation of audited General Purpose Financial Statements according to AASB/IFRS requirements for a consolidated groupPreparation of Accounting Policy workpapers to support the introduction of a new or updated Accounting Standard, gaining sign-off from external auditorsPreparation of Financial Reporting for the Board and/or ShareholdersExceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAudit/Assurance or Business Services experience in a large accounting practice, ideally including Financial Services industry clientsExperience in the Financial Services industry, with insurance and AFSL compliance requirements is highly desirable
