Hilton Brothers Glass & Aluminium are looking for experienced tradespeople and quality Trade Assistants to join our growing team.

We are an established Perth glazing and aluminium company working across commercial fitouts, office partitions, shopfronts, aluminium doors, automatic doors and specialist glazing projects throughout Perth.

We have a strong forward workload and plenty of work ahead, so we're looking to add the right people to our existing crew.

We are currently looking for:

• Qualified Glaziers

• Aluminium Fabricators

• Glazing / Aluminium Installers

• Qualified Carpenters looking for a change of trade

• Experienced Trade Assistants

• All-rounders with commercial construction experience

You don't necessarily need to come from the glazing industry.

We've found that good chippies and tradespeople from similar construction backgrounds adapt extremely well to our work. If you're confident measuring, fitting, working with doors and frames, reading plans and solving problems onsite, a lot of those skills transfer directly into the glass and aluminium trade.

If you've got the right attitude, we're happy to teach you the glazing side.

Our work is varied and includes:

• Commercial glazed partitions

• Aluminium framing systems

• Shopfronts

• Aluminium framed doors

• Frameless glass

• Automatic door systems

• Architectural glazing

• Commercial fitout projects

We work across a range of projects throughout the Perth Metro area, with our workshop based in Forrestdale.

Due to our current workload, our standard working hours are:

Monday to Friday – 5:30am to 4:00pm

We are currently working 10-hour days as standard, giving our team the opportunity to get plenty of hours in during the week.

Optional Saturday work is also available, generally a half day, for anyone wanting additional hours.

We're not too worried about someone having the perfect CV.

More importantly, we want people who:

• Turn up and are reliable

• Take pride in their work

• Have a good attitude

• Work well as part of a crew

• Can think for themselves and solve problems

• Are willing to learn and have a crack

• Look after tools, equipment and company gear

For tradesman-level positions, we ideally want applicants who are comfortable working unsupervised and taking responsibility for their own work.

Commercial glazing and aluminium experience is obviously highly regarded, but carpentry and other relevant construction trade experience will also be strongly considered.

Trade Assistants with construction experience are preferred, however we're also happy to consider the right person with a good attitude who wants to learn the industry.

• Glazing, aluminium, carpentry or relevant construction experience

• Current driver's licence

• White Card

• Ability to read drawings and plans for senior tradespeople

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work safely and efficiently

Additional tickets such as EWP, forklift or high-risk work licences are an advantage but aren't essential.
