About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking part-time Maintenance Officer to work at our Myrtle Bank Retirement Living location for 25 hours a week.

As Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs, maintenance and grounds keeping, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our residents. You will be paid in line with the Aged Care Award as a level 6 General employee.

The Duties and responsibilities for this role are:

• Daily gardening and grounds related tasks

• Responding promptly to all maintenance and related requests by residents

• Booking and assisting service providers and contractors required on the site

• Annual preventative maintenance reporting

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS policies and procedures

About You

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

• Ability to work in property maintenance, building and grounds works

• The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all residents

• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to solve problems independently and work autonomously

• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including Booster shot) and 2026 Seasonal Influenza vaccination

• NDIS Worker Check Clearance (or willing to obtain one)
