Our Corporate Tax team continues to grow as demand for our market-leading work increases, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager. This is an outstanding role for a high-performing tax professional in professional services or industry who is ready to take the next step in a collaborative, high-calibre and fast-growing team.
 
As our Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate complex tax matters and manage their tax obligations with confidence. Working alongside highly experienced professionals across Australia, you’ll deliver pragmatic, commercially focused solutions that support compliance, drive better business outcomes and make a real impact for clients across a diverse portfolio.

Your key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the leadership team to coordinate and manage the provision of taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, overseeing day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and accounting calculations.
• Deliver a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory and compliance services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes, with the backing of Australia’s top tax technicians.
• Lead and mentor the team, including managers, senior consultants, consultants, and graduates, by acting as a 'Counsellor' for junior members, fostering their career development, and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.
   

Skills and attributes for success   

• Possess detailed knowledge and 6 to 10 years’ experience with the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role, along with expertise in corporate income tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement obligations.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters and coordinating various engagements, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
• Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters), with technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting considered an advantage, though not essential.
