Senior Tax & Business Services Accountant - Established Regional Qld Practice

We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a well-established advisory, accounting and wealth management firm in Bundaberg. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex tax matters for SMEs, multinational corporations and high-net-worth family groups. 

The Role: 

• Conduct in-depth research on complex Australian and international tax matters, including corporate, trust, partnership and high-net-worth client structures 

• Analyse complex transactions and provide practical recommendations on tax planning, restructuring and compliance matters 

• Prepare taxation advice letters, memorandums for compliance teams and internal training materials 

• Present tailored tax advice to clients and collaborate with advisory and compliance teams to deliver high-quality outcomes 

• Support the growth and development of the tax team by sharing expertise and providing mentoring where appropriate 

About You: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law or similar 

• CA, CPA, CTA qualified (or equivalent) 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in public practice, ideally with a focus on tax advisory and/or compliance 

• Advanced knowledge of Australian tax law and the ability to translate complex matters into clear, client-friendly advice 

• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach 

• Proven ability to manage complex projects independently and collaboratively
