We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a well-established advisory, accounting and wealth management firm in Bundaberg. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex tax matters for SMEs, multinational corporations and high-net-worth family groups.
The Role:
Conduct in-depth research on complex Australian and international tax matters, including corporate, trust, partnership and high-net-worth client structures
Analyse complex transactions and provide practical recommendations on tax planning, restructuring and compliance matters
Prepare taxation advice letters, memorandums for compliance teams and internal training materials
Present tailored tax advice to clients and collaborate with advisory and compliance teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
Support the growth and development of the tax team by sharing expertise and providing mentoring where appropriate
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Law or similar
CA, CPA, CTA qualified (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in public practice, ideally with a focus on tax advisory and/or compliance
Advanced knowledge of Australian tax law and the ability to translate complex matters into clear, client-friendly advice
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach
Proven ability to manage complex projects independently and collaboratively
