Job Description

We are looking for an experience and knowledgable retail specialist to join our Kunda Park store, supporting our customers in a range of areas including Paint, Power Tools and Power Garden. If you have a desire to learn and possess strong customer service skills, then please apply! The role:

• Processing of customer sales
• Merchandising
• Maintain store standards
• Customer Service proactively approach customers in store and engaging with customers, providing expert advice on products
• Champion the various retail departments, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to boost sales
• Attend supplier training to grow your knowledge of all hardware products.
• Work with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions, using your knowledge of products you will take a full approach to selling.

Ideally you will have/be: 

• Knowledge and understanding of the Hardware & Building sector
• knowledge and experience with Paint & Power tools (desired)
• Self-motivated with a strong team focus. 
• Excellent customer service skills
• Loads of energy, proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Team player who will help the team achieve sales targets
• Willing to work across the weekend
