Project Coordinator

ROC Communications is a growing telecommunications and civil infrastructure contractor delivering fibre and network projects across Australia.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to support our Project Managers in the delivery of telecommunications and civil infrastructure projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors and clients, you will coordinate project activities, site access, surveys, compliance requirements and project documentation to help keep projects on schedule and running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple stakeholders and contributing to successful project outcomes. The position also offers the opportunity to coordinate smaller projects under the guidance of senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the coordination and delivery of multiple projects.

• Coordinate site access approvals, permits and client requirements, including restricted sites and data centres.

• Arrange field surveys, inspections and project mobilisation activities.

• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and maintain compliance documentation.

• Assist with WHS, environmental and client compliance requirements, including permits, SWMS and project documentation.

• Monitor project milestones, action items and outstanding deliverables.

• Assist with project reporting, invoicing and client requirements.

• Maintain project records, trackers and client portals.

• Support employee and subcontractor inductions and training coordination.

• Coordinate smaller projects as assigned.

About You

• Experience in project coordination, project support, telecommunications, construction or civil infrastructure.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.

• Experience with project management systems such as Simpro highly regarded.

• Understanding of WHS and compliance requirements is advantageous.
